A unique concert in which Constantinople will leave its mark on traditional mystic and sacred songs from the Middle Ages.
Drawn from the vast repertoire of Mediterranean music, these songs are dedicated to the Virgin Mary and remind us of the unifying spirit underlying diverse traditions.
Missa Mystica revives some of the period's most beautiful manuscripts, including the Cantigas de Santa Maria, Syrian and Byzantine hymns, and lamentations to the Virgin.
